Shamik left a successful banking career to be a filmmaker. Trapeze is the first short film from this self taught filmmaker. He is also known as one of the promising bengali writers in recent times. His short stories has been published in all prestigious bengali newspapers and magazines (Desh etc.). His first solo book is published in Kolkata Book Fair 2017,
Sabyasachi Banerjee
Director of Photography
Sabyasachi is a FTII graduate and lives in Kolkata. After passing out, he has worked in various audiovisual projects, which includes documentary films, corporate and short fiction. He also teaches films in various Kolkata based institutions.
Hiran Mitra
Production Design
A distinguished artist, sculptor, graphic designer and installation artist, Hiran Mitra have solo shows in various countries. He has also worked as a production designer in Theatre and Films like Herbert.
Anindya Sundar Chakraborti
Music
Well versed in Western Classical Music, Anindya has worked as music director in several feature films like Indian National Award Winning Bakita Byektigoto. He is based in Vadodara, Gujarat.
Sukanta Majumdar
Sound Design
An independent audiographer and sound artist specialises in field recording and sound design for films and theatre. He, graduated from SRFTI, has worked with many renowned filmmakers at home and abroad. He is co-creator, with Moushumi Bhowmik, of The Travelling Archive, a project in ethnomusicological field recording and archiving and together they run the record label, Travelling Archive Records. As a sound artist, he has shown his work at the London College of Communication (Frozen Noise, 2010),The National Maritime Museum, London (Life of Rivers, 2011) and Foundacion Botin, Santander, Spain (Footsteps of Sound, 2013), the latter two in collaboration with Moushumi Bhowmik. Sukanta also teaches and writes on sound. He lives in Kolkata.
